History

In 1996 the first orders for Pringles were processed at MIVAS. The work for Pringles, at the time still owned by Procter & Gamble, was located at M3 (Rumst). After the acquisition of Pringles by Kellogg's however, we were forced to move these activities to another location. With the large volumes of Pringles in mind, MIVAS added a new warehouse and a spatious new workplace to the main site in Lier in 2012.

For 12 years, 15 to 20 trucks travelled daily between MIVAS and the Pringles factory in Mechelen, causing considerable costs, additional administration and CO²-emissions. This led to the eventual decision of Kellogg's to switch to inhouse co-packing. A brand new distribution centre was built next to the factory in Mechelen, in which MIVAS was granted a dedicated workspace to continue our packaging activities.
